Take God With You When You Vote
"My concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God's side, for God is always right."
Abraham Lincoln
I fear that America has turned aside from the determination that righteous Americans have had in the past. As a result, I believe many people no longer even give more than a passing consideration as to whether they are on God's side or not. Perhaps it's because so many no longer believe that God is always right.
I do!
Since I do, I am going to take God with me when I vote. By that I mean that I am going to keep his commands in mind when I vote for people who have a stated preference as to His laws - such as the sanctity of human life, as to the holiness of God's design for marriage, and to their belief in Christ as the Son of God.
In short, if any man or woman running for office is in opposition to God's commands, then they are not fit to govern. In fact, I would hesitate to vote for such a person to be dog catcher, much less a judge or representative of the people.
You may not agree with me on this principle, but if you do, then may I suggest that you take God along with you when you vote? If we return to His side, it will change our nation!
"Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people."
King Solomon, Proverbs 14:34
