Acts 8:13, RSV

Acts 8:35-36, RSV

Why, do you suppose, did I stop in the middle of these three verses? Maybe the better question is, "why would anyone?"

As you continue your studies, I hope that you will be seeking to find for yourself what the Lord has to say about everything: Be it grace or faith, be it repentance or confession of our belief that Jesus is Lord. Be it the shed blood of Christ, baptism into Christ, or the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit, I hope that you will not deny any of these critical factors in your salvation. I pray that you will not deny any other vital parts of God's plan of salvation that you may find!

May God richly bless your efforts to seek and serve Him!

"Why do you call Me, 'Lord, Lord, ' and do not do what I tell you?"

This is day 33 of the Bible study, comprising the 6th through the 8th chapters of Acts.
